Everything you need,
nothing you don't.

TimeTracker keeps things simple. Start a timer, name your project, stop when you're done. Every session is recorded and ready to export whenever you need it.

One-click time tracking

Hit Start, enter your project name, and the timer runs. Hit Stop when you're done. Each session is automatically saved — no manual entry needed.

Automatic local backup

Every session is instantly written to a CSV file in your Documents folder. Your data is always there, even without any export step.

Project-based tracking

Name each session after the project you're working on. Run multiple sessions per day, across as many projects as you like. History is right in the app.

Flexible export

Export any date range as CSV, PDF, or plain text. Perfect for billing clients, submitting timesheets, or just keeping your own records.

No accounts, no cloud

TimeTracker works entirely offline. No sign-in, no internet connection required, no data ever leaves your computer. What you track is yours.

Windows 10 & 11 ready

Installs in seconds with a standard Windows installer. Creates a desktop shortcut automatically. No prerequisites, no dependencies to manage.

Up and running in minutes.

TimeTracker is designed to get out of your way. Install it once and it just works.

1

Download and install

Download the installer below and run it. It installs TimeTracker to your Program Files folder and places a shortcut on your Desktop. The whole process takes under a minute.

2

Start a session

Double-click the TimeTracker icon. Click Start, type your project name when prompted, and the timer begins. The app stays out of your way while you work.

3

Stop when you're done

Click Stop. TimeTracker records the project name, date, start time, end time, and total duration — then saves it automatically. Your running CSV log is updated immediately.

4

Export whenever you need to

Click Export Report, choose a date range and format (CSV, PDF, or TXT), and save your report. The export includes a per-project summary with total hours — ready for a client invoice or internal timesheet.

Your data, your format.

Choose how you want your time log delivered. Every export includes a full session breakdown and a summary of hours by project.

CSV

Spreadsheet-ready

Opens directly in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets with a double-click. Filter by project, create charts, build invoice formulas — the data is yours to work with.

PDF

Polished report

A clean, formatted document with a full session table and a project summary. Ideal for sending to clients, attaching to invoices, or filing for records.

TXT

Plain text

A fixed-width text report readable in any application — Notepad, email, a ticketing system. Simple, universal, and always accessible.

Your data lives in your Documents folder.

TimeTracker saves everything to a folder called TimeTracker inside your Documents. There's a rolling CSV that updates after every session, and a full JSON backup. No cloud, no sync, no surprises.
