The Challenge
The Goshen Gazette wanted a site with a special front page that displayed the newest news for each category right after posting. They wanted a secure environment for multiple authors, a responsive photo gallery, and immediate posting to the Facebook account as well.
The Goal
The goal for the project included setting up a WordPress content management system with a custom “newspaper” like design that updates automatically when users posts are approved and published.
The Design
The color palette features a black and white “newspaper” look and feel with highlighted category titles and links. The pre-existing logo is prominently placed on desktop and mobile sizes with some site elements in Hebrew text.
Project Summary
The pages are read-ready with relevant images, posts, and categories that are easily and continually updated by approved author submissions. The photo gallery and Torah reading sign-ups encourage interactivity with their target audience and social media community.
